March 26th, Air Max Day. The day that doesn’t really need an introduction anymore for anyone remotely connected to streetwear. Each year during the month of May, sneakerheads around the globe celebrate one of the most iconic footwear models to ever see the light of day, known as the Nike Air Max. With global sneaker pillars and fans having already embraced the day as one for the community for years, for 2020 Nike chose to put some extra emphasis on the people to celebrate the everlasting support.

We paid a visit to a new generation of European culture pushers and Air Max collectors to talk about their stories, opinions and aspirations. We collaborated with them to create a platform for global Air Max fans to showcase their own passion for the Nike classic.
In addition to that we celebrated London and Amsterdam through the Air Max 1 City Pack. The two capital cities when it comes to representing the Air Max silhouette, making the sneaker the cultural icon it is today.
Last but not least, alongside the release of the Air Max 2090, Nike presented a short documentary called The Story of Air Max. The documentary spotlights a few of Nike’s own as well as some of the most profound figures in sneaker culture to tell the story of Air Max from their perspective, including our very own Masta Lee.
